" New-speak" is not a new phenomenon. American society has experienced much transformation, for decades, as a result of "new-speak". Some prominent examples include the homosexual community hijacking the word "gay", transforming it from a nice description of jollity to a "nice" description of a reprobate mindset, or transforming the word evil from a description of any thing that violates God's standards to a description of only a most base violence, and virtually eliminating the word sin from the American lexicon, replacing it with terms like "illness", or "alternative life style".
The campaign to eliminate Christian thought from public dialogue began slowly and is now elevating to the level of complete destruction. Last December, at Georgetown University, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton introduced the "new-speak" language, that, if accepted, will deliver the death blow to Christianity's influence on American society. In this speech Hillary Clinton attempted to replace the God given right of "freedom of religion" to a government given right to "freedom of worship."
In the same sentence Mrs. Clinton raised homosexuality to the same level of right as this "new-speak" right to "freedom of worship". This distinction is subtle to be sure, but it is fundamental. The God-given right of "freedom of religion" gives man the right to preach, evangelize, and confront moral and ethical issues in the public square, while "freedom of worship" relegates religious thought to one's worship service, eventually even eliminating it from one's home.
As Rush Limbaugh often states, words mean things. Pay attention to the words used, not only by political leaders, but by media outlets, teachers, those in academia, and even religious leaders. "New-speak" is not relegated to the halls of Washington D.C. If armed by God with a Biblical world view, you will triumph over Secular Humanism. However, if you blend your Christianity with the doctrines of the world you will capitulate to its system.
